Bamgoo - An Electric Car Made Of Bamboo

Bamboo is the fastest growing woody plant, and hence an attraction for many "eco-friendly" engineers. You may be knowing about the Chinese architects, who use bamboo for constructing big buildings, including some sky-scrappers too.
This time it is the researchers from Kyoto University, Japan who have recently displayed an eco-friendly electric car made almost entirely out of bamboo.
This all-electric 1-seater weighs 130lbs, gets 30 miles between charges. Although the distance is of course not much, but more questionable part of the car is it's safety, as although bamboo is not so weak, but of course it nowhere, compared to fibers or steel, in case of an accident.

So if not for regular daily use, I think the car can be used in golf courses, and for other simpler work like in office complexes etc.
